Handy Travel Hints on getting a great rate:
- Be aware of the high seasons and the off seasons. It's always
less expensive to stay in Las Vegas during the middle of the summer summer or winter.
- If you don't care what days you are there--the weekday rates are
generally cheaper (assuming that there is no convention in town).
- As with airfares, look for last minute deals
- Many hotels regularly run promotions--check their websites for
the latest ones
- Package deals are the real secret in Las Vegas--you can often
book packages online that will offer significant savings. Shop
around online for the best prices!
- Upgrades are cheaper for hotels to give you than discounts are. If they have
nicer rooms available when you check in, they may upgrade you for no
additional cost, if you ask--particularly if you are a member of
their casino club.
- Book online! Online competition for Las Vegas hotels is fierce
and it's often the route to the best price
